ROOTS OF CHANGE COMMUNITY GARDEN

The garden and cooperativa is based on environmental justice principles and works towards the recovery of the Earth and the people. We value empowerment, sustainability, and our stories as a way to increase the health of our people, build community ownership of land, and increase access to healthy, fresh food using traditional growing models.

Upcoming Workshops, Classes and Social Events

We have a variety of events throughout the month aimed at improving food justice at a community level, including weekly workdays, and workshops on low cost organic gardening, building skills, environmental justice, and cooking. We also host fundraisers, celebrations, and so much more.

How to get involved

Schedule a garden visit or volunteer some time in the garden for you or group. Our harvest goes diectly to you! Internship opportunities also available.
